Investor Relations Senior Associate
to join its
Retail, Apparel, Footwear & Accessories
(RAFA) team.
Responsibilities
Provide direct support for Partners, Managing Directors, Senior Vice Presidents, and Vice Presidents of the group
Create, update and maintain detailed financial models for our clients
Track and report on our clients’ competitor/peer business developments and financial results
Prepare reports and analysis for clients outlining investor feedback, financial results, stock price performance, short interest, and changes to institutional shareholder base
Assist with the creation and preparation of quarterly Board of Directors presentations
Develop and manage relationships with current analysts and institutional investors
Develop and manage calendars and timelines for investor conferences, non-deal roadshows, analyst days, and other major events
Develop client marketing materials, including corporate press releases, letters to shareholders, investor fact sheets, and IR website content
Participate in the quarterly earnings review and preparation process, including due diligence calls with management, drafting earnings releases, conference call scripts and Q&A documents
Distribute press releases and notify respective exchange if public
Assist in preparing pitch materials for prospective clients
Various clerical and administrative responsibilities including note taking, scheduling calls, and mailing investor kits
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Communications, Business or a related field
At least one year of relevant work experience or substantial internships during college
Strong finance and/or accounting background required
Experience in equity research, investment banking, or similar buy or sell-side exposure a plus
Knowledge of consumer industry a plus
Excellent interpersonal & verbal / written communication skills
Confident and professional phone and e-mail communication
Proven ability to work well on teams, self-motivated, and shows initiative
Strong work ethic, great attention to detail, analytical, curious, optimistic, tenacious with a desire to learn
Ability to learn quickly, work independently and be resourceful
High levels of ethics, integrity and judgment
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
2-3 days a week in office at our mid-town NYC location, 2-3 days remote
