Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent group has an immediate need for a Temp-To-Perm Corporate Paralegal.
Overview Temp-To-Perm Corporate Paralegal
Experience At least five years of in‑house experience as a corporate paralegal working on entity maintenance.
Location Hybrid in Los Angeles.
Responsibilities
Maintain corporate/entity records in hCue, client’s online entity maintenance database.
Oversee entity maintenance, including the handling of state and local filings relating to new entity formations, foreign qualifications, dissolutions, name changes, conversions, mergers, and DBAs.
Lead and support the company’s KYC process by responding to 3rd‑party information requests.
Update organizational charts of the company as needed.
Draft NDAs and promissory notes (less than 20% of the role).
Background
At least 5 years of corporate paralegal experience working on entity maintenance, either in‑house or a mix of in‑house and law firm; more senior candidates are welcome (over 10‑12 years).
BA/BS or associate’s degree is strongly preferred.
Must be proficient with iManage and Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Adobe Acrobat Professional.
Pay Rate $60/hour.
