What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Collaborate with dedicated account teams to provide engineering and architectural leadership
Drive advanced architecture discussions to align technology direction with customer needs
Lead technical tasks, including product demonstrations, POCs, and complex network designs
Communicate solutions effectively to customers and work cohesively with sales teams
Provide strategic direction to product management and R&D organizations
What is Required (Qualifications):
Strong understanding of routing/switching trends and technologies
Expert knowledge of multi‑layer network architectures and protocols
Detailed understanding of Service Provider Network deployments and architectures
10+ years of experience in the telecommunications industry
Technical degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or relevant experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience with software design and development in languages such as Linux, C/C++, Java, or Python
Understanding of backbone long‑haul transport and metro DWDM
Demonstrated ability to manage ongoing activities such as RFPs and trials
Prior experience as a contributor on a sales account team
Ability to build strong customer relationships to support sales strategies
