Job Details
Seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial construction projects across multiple locations. This role is ideal for a hands-on construction leader who thrives on the road, takes pride in jobsite excellence, and knows how to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and at the highest quality standards.
What You’ll Do
Lead all on-site construction activities from mobilization through closeout
Manage subcontractors, labor, materials, and equipment to maintain schedule and productivity
Enforce safety programs and ensure OSHA compliance on every jobsite
Coordinate daily with Project Managers, owners, inspectors, and design teams
Review drawings, specifications, and schedules to proactively identify issues
Maintain accurate daily reports, schedules, and progress documentation
Ensure quality control and adherence to company standards across all phases of construction
Travel extensively to active project sites as required
What We’re Looking For
7+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects
Proven experience supervising projects in a traveling capacity
Strong knowledge of commercial construction means and methods
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and schedules
Strong safety mindset with a track record of accident-free projects
Willingness and ability to travel extensively (regional and/or national)
Nice to Have
Experience with healthcare, industrial, manufacturing, or specialty commercial projects
OSHA 30 certification
Proficiency with construction software (Procore, MS Project, etc.)
