Alliance Event Strategy Lead Responsible for developing and executing event strategy for EY’s sponsorship of its most strategic alliance partners, ensuring a cohesive and impactful presence at key events, managing budgets, and securing agencies and vendors to enhance EY's visibility.

Your Key Responsibilities

Development of Alliance Event Strategy: Create and implement a comprehensive event strategy that aligns with EY’s sponsorship goals and enhances our presence at strategic alliance events.

Agency and Vendor Management: Secure and manage relationships with agencies and vendors to facilitate EY’s participation in key events, ensuring high‑quality execution.

Collaboration with Alliance Teams: Work closely with Alliance teams to understand their priorities and incorporate them into EY’s event presence, ensuring alignment with overall alliance objectives.

Partnership with Alliance Marketing and Global Events Team: Collaborate with the Alliance Marketing and Global Events teams to execute events effectively, ensuring a seamless experience for attendees.

Budget Management: Oversee event budgets, identifying creative synergies across events to optimize resources and enhance impact.

Team Leadership: Manage a team of 6 individuals, including 3 on‑shore and 3 off‑shore team members, fostering collaboration and high performance.

This role is based in the United States, with a mix of virtual work and regular coordination with team members globally. Some travel may be required.

Skills and Attributes for Success

Demonstrated experience planning and executing large‑scale technology user conferences (e.g., SAP Sapphire, Microsoft Ignite, ServiceNow Knowledge).

Event Strategy Development: Proven experience in developing and executing event strategies that align with organizational goals and enhance brand visibility.

Agency and Vendor Management: Strong background in securing and managing agencies and vendors to ensure successful event execution.

Collaboration Skills: Experience working collaboratively with cross‑functional teams, including marketing and alliance teams, to achieve common objectives.

Budget Management: Demonstrated ability to manage budgets effectively, identifying synergies and creative solutions to optimize event resources.

Leadership Experience: Experience in leading teams and fostering a collaborative environment to achieve shared goals.

Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze event performance and feedback to inform future strategies and enhance overall event effectiveness.

Relationship Building: Proven success in building and nurturing relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.

Base salary range for this role in the U.S. is $128,700 to $247,800 (total rewards included).

Additional benefits include medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.

Hybrid working model: most external, client‑serving roles work together in person 40‑60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
