Associate Director of Mission Simulation & Training Business Development
to join our rapidly growing team based in
Washington, DC

Costa Mesa, CA
and drive the go-to-market for Warfighter Systems Mission Simulation and Training. The Warfighter Systems Mission Simulation & Training product portfolio enables frontline mission command with a high-resolution collaborative 3D sand table for remote mission planning sessions and mission rehearsal. It offers an end-to-end capability that spans mission planning, rehearsal, execution, and AAR/debrief, with a focus on closing the real-world mission experience capability gap through realistic training solutions. WHAT YOU’LL DO
Develop and execute Mission Simulation & Training capture strategies to drive go-to-market growth for the Warfighter Systems Mission Simulation & Training business Identify new business opportunities within the Department of War and other government agencies, domestically and internationally Own and manage Mission Simulation & Training deals from identification to qualification to close Conduct market research, identify potential partnerships, and refine go-to-market strategy Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to identify and shape new opportunities, communicate proactively, and provide strategic direction across mission operations, product engineering, and manufacturing REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
5–8 years of experience in Mission Simulation & Training business development, capability development, or acquisition Proven track record of identifying, qualifying, and capturing Mission Simulation & Training deals Strong understanding of Mission Simulation & Training markets and funding sources; ability to coordinate programmatic funding and growth with Government Relations, Strategy, and adjacent business lines Exceptional communication, negotiation, and cross-cultural engagement skills; ability to work across internal teams and external stakeholders to drive capability adoption Eligible to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrated knowledge in defense acquisitions from government or industry experience Understanding of requirements generation, acquisition strategy development, programming, planning, and budgeting cycles Technically minded leader who can build, adapt, and implement innovative market approaches Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment Ability to establish and use important customer relationships with senior officials and program stakeholders within defense and intelligence communities High-energy leader with strong management skills and emotional intelligence Excellent writing and communication skills, including briefing senior executives and customers COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
US Salary Range $166,000 - $220,000 USD The salary range is an estimate based on base salary; actual offer may vary.
