About the Program
The MedSchoolCoach Research Mentorship Program is a fully virtual opportunity designed to help high school students explore their passion for STEM through independent research projects. With the guidance of experienced PhD mentors, students develop critical research skills, strengthen their college applications, and gain valuable exposure to the scientific process. Responsibilities
As a Research Mentor, you will: ✅ Guide students in designing and conducting STEM research projects ✅ Assist with literature reviews, data collection, and analysis ✅ Teach fundamentals of scientific research, methodology, and writing ✅ Support students in submitting to peer‑reviewed high school or undergraduate journals ✅ Mentor students who wish to participate in science competitions or present at conferences ✅ Provide structured guidance over 10 weekly 1‑hour mentorship sessions Qualifications
✔ PhD (or currently enrolled in a PhD program) in a STEM field ✔ Prior experience in research and mentorship ✔ Strong communication and teaching skills ✔ Passion for mentoring high school students Preferred Expertise

$75-$100 per mentorship session Fully Remote (Must have stable internet access) ⏳ Part‑time, flexible hours
