Beacon Inspections is searching for 1099 Independent Contractor Commercial Vehicle Field Inspectors in all US regions.
The ideal Independent Contractor will have experience as a diesel technician or in automotive repair industry and a knowledge of trucks, trailers, and equipment maintenance. Other common background includes auto inspectors, home inspectors, and insurance adjusters.
Required:
1099 Independent Contractor status
Flexible Schedule (daylight hours, Monday - Friday)
Comfortable working outdoors
Access to a newer smartphone or tablet with sufficient data plan
Access to a laptop/desktop computer
Basic OBD II Scanner (if do not have we will provide)
Reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft and other web based software
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
Perks include:
Make good money for part time or full time work
Be your own boss and set your own hours
Flexible work environment
Ability to work with minimal guidance and supervision
Compensation: $35,000 - $75,000 per year (part or full time)
Paid per inspection with mileage reimbursement.
