A large-scale public sector technology program is seeking a
Power BI / Data Visualization Specialist (Level II)
to support enterprise reporting and analytics initiatives. This role will focus on transforming complex data into actionable insights through interactive dashboards and advanced data modeling.
The ideal candidate has strong experience with
Power BI and Tableau , along with the ability to communicate data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and optimize
data models
to support reporting and analytics.
Develop
interactive dashboards and reports
using Power BI and Tableau.
Analyze large datasets to identify
trends, gaps, and opportunities.
Translate complex data into
clear, user-friendly visualizations.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
Maintain documentation and ensure
data accuracy and integrity.
Provide
training and support
to end users and leadership teams.
Troubleshoot issues related to data sources, reporting, and visualization logic.
Required Qualifications
4–7 years of experience in BI/Data Visualization roles.
Strong hands-on experience with
Power BI and Tableau.
Proven ability to convert raw data into meaningful insights.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with
SQL / T-SQL, SSRS, and Power Query.
Strong knowledge of
DAX and advanced calculations in Power BI.
Experience with
data modeling and relational databases.
Familiarity with
data warehousing concepts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, including presenting to leadership.
Experience in
public sector or large enterprise environments.
