Location: Sacramento, CA
Salary: $161,700.00–$338,500.00
Overview Report to the Regional Chief Executive and the PgM Global Business Line Chief Executive as the Regional Business Line Leader (RBLL) for Program Management within the U.S. West. This role provides strategic, financial, and operational leadership for the regional PgM business line, collaborating with regional and global leadership, peers, client account managers, and other stakeholders to coordinate all PgM initiatives.
Responsibilities
Lead the U.S. West PgM business line, setting strategy, objectives, and financial outcomes.
Act as the day‑to‑day liaison between the regional executive team and the Global Business Line, providing regular feedback and facilitating broader conversations.
Drive profit and loss responsibility, managing revenue generation, margin achievement, and overall financial performance.
Oversee sales and growth by leading regional PgM bids, coordinating capture and program teams, and partnering with the sales & growth team to prioritize opportunities.
Ensure execution excellence by working with local program and project managers to monitor ongoing performance and address support needs.
Apply and promote AECOM’s Program Management methodology and digital tools across the portfolio.
Support People, Practice and Tools initiatives, such as talent pipeline, succession planning, regional resourcing, and digitization resources.
Represent AECOM in industry, municipal, state, and federal forums, contributing to industry leadership.
Qualifications
BA/BS in Engineering, Architecture, Construction or related field with at least 10 years of progressive PgM leadership experience.
Demonstrated success leading major programs as Program Director/Manager.
In-depth knowledge of the North American PgM market, including municipal and intergovernmental agency programs.
Proven experience managing business financials for engineering and consulting contracts.
Strong business development and growth track record, including securing new business and managing key relationships.
