Sr Director, Global Talent Acquisition Location: Austin, TX (hybrid role)
As the leader of the Global Talent Acquisition function, reporting into the VP, Global COE, you will be responsible for maturing, leading, and advancing a world-class, globally integrated TA organization. You will partner closely with executive leadership to execute talent strategies that enable UCT’s growth, enhance organizational capability, and ensure we attract and retain top talent across all regions.
Key Responsibilities
Global Leadership
– Lead and coach a high‑performing global TA organization, continuing to mature and elevate team capability, while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, agility, and continuous improvement across regions.
Enterprise Talent Strategy
– Refine and execute a global talent acquisition strategy, ensuring alignment to UCT’s evolving business priorities, workforce plans, and long‑term growth objectives.
Executive & Strategic Hiring
– Partner with executive leadership to drive critical leadership hiring, ensuring the organization secures top‑tier talent for key strategic roles.
Stakeholder Partnership
– Act as a trusted advisor to the executive leadership team, business leaders, and HR partners, aligning talent strategies with business needs and driving proactive workforce planning.
Employer Brand & Market Positioning
– Enhance and scale UCT’s global employer brand, ensuring a compelling and differentiated value proposition that attracts top‑tier talent in competitive markets.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
– Advance inclusive hiring strategies globally, ensuring equitable processes and advancing UCT’s commitment to diversity across all levels of the organization.
Metrics, Insights & Workforce Analytics
– Elevate the use of data, metrics, and insights to drive performance, improve predictability, and inform strategic decision‑making.
Operational Excellence & Transformation
– Optimize and standardize TA processes, systems, and tools globally, driving efficiency, scalability, and a best‑in‑class candidate and hiring manager experience.
Vendor & Partner Strategy
– Manage and optimize global agency, master vendor programs, and partner relationships to ensure consistent quality delivery, cost efficiency, and alignment with business needs.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
12+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience, including significant leadership experience within global, matrixed organizations.
Proven success scaling and leading global TA functions in high‑growth, complex environments, preferably within manufacturing or semiconductor industries.
Strong experience partnering with and presenting to executive leadership, with a proven ability to influence at the highest levels.
Demonstrated ability to drive operational improvements and support transformation initiatives.
Deep understanding of global labor markets, talent trends, and regional complexities.
Strong track record of leading large, distributed teams across multiple geographies.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to balance strategic priorities with hands‑on execution in a fast‑paced environment.
