Overview
Senior Business Analyst to join our client’s team on a contract basis. This hybrid role requires on-site presence Monday through Wednesday and remote work Thursday and Friday. The initial assignment is 6 months. The client is located in downtown Chicago. Responsibilities
Collaborate with business partners to identify, assess, and document business and technical requirements, considering current and future state environments. Facilitate user workshops to understand and define requirements, documenting them using formats such as user stories, BRDs, process diagrams, and mock-ups. Develop and run SQL queries to understand application system data relationships. Engage with business stakeholders to understand drivers and priorities, applying this knowledge to prioritize requirements and user stories. Partner with Agile teams to communicate and resolve blockers, reprioritize user stories, and provide iteration status updates. Assist the Quality Assurance team in translating requirements into test scenarios and acceptance criteria as needed. Requirements
Minimum 7 years of experience in business analyst roles. Technical skills: troubleshooting, directory/file structures, and systems understanding. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills. Self-motivated, customer-focused, and collaborative. Strong organizational, time management, prioritization, and documentation skills. Proficient in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to learn new software programs as needed. Highly adaptable, flexible, and responsive to change. Seniority level
