About the Role 2026 Canon Insights Summer Internship – Canon Financial Services (CFS) is a 10‑week paid summer internship, held from Tuesday, June 2, 2026 to Thursday, August 6, 2026. The program is based in Mount Laurel, NJ and will relocate to Burlington, NJ during the summer. Canon is a global digital imaging leader and values diverse, collaborative teams. This role offers hands‑on experience, training, and networking with top‑level business leaders.

What You’ll Do

Gain hands‑on work experience by participating in significant work projects that develop business skills and contribute to Canon’s goals.

Be exposed to world‑class teams and business, marketing, and strategy initiatives through training, meetings, presentations, and planned activities.

Develop marketable skills and knowledge for transition into the workforce.

Work a hybrid schedule: 2 days in‑office (Tues/Thurs in 2026) and 3 days remote, 8:30 AM–5 PM, 37.5‑hour week.

Your Impact

Support the Direct Customer Sales group to increase repeat‑leasing business.

Leverage existing relationships and onboard new dealers for future solicitation.

Utilize telemarketing and inside sales skills to achieve sales volume, application activity and telephone sales objectives.

Provide general support to the Sales Support team and learn related tasks.

Develop direct customer relationships for repeat business via telemarketing and inside sales strategies.

Solicit new leasing business, offering CFS lease finance services, and interact with authorized signers and owners to understand financing needs.

Contribute to overall marketing strategies for Direct Customer Sales.

Use persuasive, persistent outreach efforts to promote CFS equipment leasing services.

Provide regular updates to management on financing requirements and customer needs.

Process lease applications, create lease agreements, and provide general sales support telephone coverage.

Collaborate with Sales Support and Marketing teams on education, lease processes, FAQs, and deliver timely responses to dealers and customers.

Attend regular meetings to coordinate activities, share learnings, and review results.

Communicate with team members to clarify or expedite tasks.

About You Enrolled undergraduate student, junior or entering senior year in Summer 2026, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Chat, Calendar, Drive).

Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.

Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with diverse teams.

Willingness to learn, take initiative, and gain hands‑on experience in sales, marketing, and finance.

Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university.

Hourly rate: $20.00.
