Manager for Strategy & Commercial Analytics The Manager for Strategy & Commercial Analytics builds and coordinates strategic planning and intelligence across the Americas. The role leads the AMER strategic planning cycle and synthesises regional inputs into clear direction for leadership.

may also be considered. The role follows a hybrid work schedule, with

two days per week onsite

in the office.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Operating Cadence

Lead the annual strategic planning cycle and implementation in the Americas area; consolidate inputs into clear, leadership‑ready recommendations and priorities

Own the country planning framework, ensuring consistency of assumptions, prioritisation logic, and alignment across the area and Energy business.

Market & Competitive Intelligence

Establish and maintain a structured MI/CI programme that monitors market changes, technology trends, customer behaviour, and competitor moves.

Translate findings into explicit strategic implications for where we focus and how we compete.

Coordinate the interpretation of commercial and financial analyses (e.g., business cases, value propositions) ensuring continuous development

Executive Decision Support

Conduct concise, executive‑level strategic analysis and strategic options

Partner with Sales, Market Development, and Project Development to embed strategic insights into country plans, opportunity shaping, and go‑to‑market positioning

Facilitate cross‑functional alignment on country/customer prioritisation and resource focus; ensure feedback loops from the field inform strategy updates

Qualifications

5+ years in strategy, market intelligence, commercial strategy, or corporate planning, ideally within energy, power markets, or top tier management consulting.

Demonstrated experience leading planning cadences and building structured business cases and market/competitive intelligence programmes.

Strong ability to synthesize complex inputs into clear executive recommendations; excellent written storytelling and presentation skills.

Comfortable interpreting financial and commercial models (e.g., quantified value proposition, dispatch outputs)

Familiarity with BI/visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI) for insight consumption; advanced Excel a plus

Solid understanding of energy market structures, policy processes, and competitive dynamics in the Americas.

Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Public Policy, or related field preferred.

Fluency in English; Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.

Travel Requirements Up to 20% travel across the Americas for leadership workshops, customer meetings, and stakeholder engagements; most collaboration will occur virtually.
