The Senior Regional Sales Manager, Business Development, drives overall growth of Strategic and Gold Partners in the assigned territory. The position partners with the Director of Sales, Strategic Channel Partner Development, and Channel Leadership to develop strategies, provide feedback, and make recommendations that achieve and exceed sales and budget goals, drive growth, and capture critical market share. Duties & Responsibilities

Channel Management

Develop and implement distinct strategic growth plans for Strategic and Gold Partners within the territory for each channel. Manage relationships with Principals, Owners, and Key Decision Makers. Assess, clarify, and validate Partner requirements regularly to maintain high partner satisfaction. Provide rapid feedback on industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics, including Managed Print Services and Business Technology procurement. Assist in the development of channel sales strategies using data and analytics. Attend Quality Business Reviews and strategic account planning sessions with internal departments, Major Accounts, and Distribution.

Coaching and Mentoring

Build a team that embodies Brother’s culture of Accountability, Boldness, Excellence, and Authenticity. Guide and manage direct reports to create value and foster internal and external relationships. Expand territories by counseling direct reports and building rapport with existing partners while identifying new opportunities. Provide sales tools in technology and business acumen. Ensure compliance with company policies and divisional procedures.

Program Development

Grow sales by establishing stretch goals per dealer/reseller and measuring profit and outcomes. Understand customer needs and link them to Brother’s capabilities. Implement and support rebate, market development funds, dealer events, rolling thunders, national meetings, and incentive programs. Create new programs to maximize sales opportunities and brand awareness.

Forecasting/Supply Chain Management

Work closely with direct reports, Major Accounts, and Strategic Partners to maintain accurate product forecasts.

Experience & Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Experience

Minimum 8 years of relevant experience spanning:

Sales management, specifically the Small‑Medium Business/B2B Dealer Channel. Managing and leading a team of sales professionals.

Minimum 8 years of sales experience within a Copier Manufacturer, Reseller, Distribution Partner, System Integrator, or VAR. Experience with solution sales and knowledge of Print Management, 3rd Party Solutions, Managed Print Services (MPS), and Document Management Solutions. Software/Technical Skills

Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software (Salesforce preferred). Knowledge of SAP S4HANA. Other Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

Ability to exceed sales targets within a direct selling organization and/or indirect operation. Ability to assess and define a customer’s business needs quickly. Ability to identify processes, competitive issues, pressures, and vendor partnerships. Ability to lead a sales function/region and set strategic direction. Time management skills. Ability to plan, prospect, and add new business. Attention to detail. Strong communication skills (verbal, written, interpersonal). Influence and negotiation skills. Additional Details For This Role

This is a remote, field‑based role with no fixed office schedule expected. The defined sales territory is National. Travel is expected up to 60% of the time, approximately 10‑12 trips per quarter, depending on business need. Base Salary

The targeted base salary range for this position is $105K‑$125K per year, determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, local cost of labor, and market data. Additional Compensation

Eligible for a $34K sales bonus in annual total at 100% of target, with potential to exceed 100% based on individual performance and company sales plans. Eligible for a 6.86% bonus at 100% of target, with potential to exceed 100% based on company performance and bonus plans. Bonus awards are discretionary and contingent upon individual performance as well as Brother’s corporate objectives, in accordance with the applicable bonus plan. Eligible for a monthly auto allowance to cover vehicle maintenance related to business commuting; this is in addition to the company’s Travel & Entertainment policy. Our Benefits

Brother’s corporate headquarters for the Americas is in Bridgewater, NJ. We also operate a 1.5‑million‑square‑foot distribution facility in Bartlett, TN, and have offices and operations in Westminster, CO; Richmond, VA; and Perris, CA.
