Solutions Consultant - Automation AI

Our client is a fast-growing American SaaS company scaling its presence across Europe. To support this expansion, they are hiring an experienced Solutions Consultant (Presales) based in Italy. The role reports to the Director of Solutions Consulting and will be central in shaping customers’ integration and automation strategy.

THE ROLE You’ll guide enterprise customers through their evaluation journey—clarifying technical requirements, mapping future-state architecture, and demonstrating how the platform delivers value. You’ll also influence product direction by feeding real market needs back to the Product team.

As part of the global Solutions Consulting and Architecture community, you will take full ownership of the technical workstream during the presales lifecycle, running workshops and defining integration and AI-agent-driven automation scenarios for customers.

REQUIREMENTS

3+ years of presales experience within a SaaS company

Strong background in enterprise integration and automation across different industries

Hands‑on experience with automation tools, integration patterns, middleware, APIs, web services, messaging frameworks, and databases

Solid understanding of cloud technologies, iPaaS solutions, and modern SaaS ecosystems

Experience building customer‑specific value propositions, integration roadmaps, and architectural recommendations

Awareness of major integration vendors (MuleSoft, Microsoft, Boomi, Oracle, TIBCO, SAP, SnapLogic, etc.)

Understanding of how AI/agents are reshaping integration and orchestration

BA/BS degree or equivalent; Computer Science is a plus

Strong communication skills in English and Italian; Spanish is a plus

Collaborative mindset and adaptability in a fast‑growth environment

Ability to simplify complex concepts for mixed audiences

Strong presentation and architectural discussion skills

Proactive, solution‑oriented, and willing to take on new initiatives

Passion for technology and delivering measurable business value

Willingness to travel within Europe as needed

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead technical discovery, diagnosis, and validation during the sales cycle

Partner with AEs, Solution Architects, Professional Services, and Customer Success

Deliver tailored product demonstrations and solution designs

Run workshops, build POCs, and support RFIs/RFPs

Conduct business and technical discovery and present proposed architectures

Represent the product at events, conferences, and customer meetings

Gather feedback from the field and share it with Product and Engineering
