What Nonstop is Looking For: Nonstop is seeking an experienced sales professional in the Chicago metropolitan area with a demonstrable history of success in business‑to‑business selling through channels (e.g. distributors, brokers, et al). Ideal candidates must have a strong acumen for healthcare sales, relationship building, a consultative style, strong calculation skills, patience for long sales cycles, and the ability to embrace change. Successful candidates will work closely with a diverse team in a largely virtual environment (remote work), combined with significant travel.
Primary Responsibilities:
Prospect and qualify new client and channel partner leads
Schedule and facilitate meetings and presentations with prospects
Conduct consultative prospect meetings with Producers, Account Managers, and Leadership from introductory meetings through financial analysis, quoting, and closing primarily virtually, occasionally in‑person
Develop a trusted advisor relationship with preferred partners
Prepare financial analysis proposals
Track all sales activities in the company CRM system
Maintain a well‑developed pipeline of prospects
Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas
Work closely with a team of coordinators, sales, marketing, and account management members
Assist the Account Management team with client retention as needed
Occasionally conduct informational webinars
Occasionally attend conferences as both an exhibitor and potential speaker, to generate leads, connect with clients and cultivate partner relationships
Requirements Preferred Skills, Experience and Education:
Experience: 5+ years in sales, 2+ years in B2B channel sales
Industry Knowledge: Healthcare benefits or insurance experience required
Health & Life Insurance License required
Bachelors degree preferred
Experience with preparing proposals and financial analysis
Experience with carrying and closing quota
Skills: Consultative selling, financial analysis, CRM expertise, strong communication
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Highly self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and remotely
Advanced problem‑resolution skills and communication abilities
Excellent presentation and listening skills
Excellent PowerPoint/Slides, Word/Docs, Excel/Sheet skills
Work Style: Remote work proficiency, ability to travel (40%), adaptability to fast‑paced environments
Must be able to pass a background check
Must be able to learn the healthcare benefits industry quickly and pass the state licensing process in your state of residency within the first 60 days after starting on the job
Experience effectively collaborating with various teams and individuals at every level of an organization
Proficiency and leveraging relevant AI tools and technologies to enhance proficiency and innovation is required
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Remote position involves regular collaboration across departments via video conferencing, phone, email and messaging platforms
Requires prolonged periods of sitting and consistent use of a computer and other standard office equipment
Ability to travel occasionally for team meetings, trainings, and/or company events
