high-impact commercial leader
to drive expansion across the
US Northeast region . This is a
career-defining opportunity
as the
first Business Development hire in the US , offering full ownership to build and scale the commercial function while working directly with a
highly experienced CEO and executive leadership team . The organisation is
private equity–backed , operates across
three continents , and has a strong focus on
Oncology , one of the most well-funded and innovative therapeutic areas in life sciences. The Opportunity
This role is designed for a
strategic, entrepreneurial commercial leader
who can both
drive revenue and shape long-term commercial strategy . You will be responsible for establishing the organisation’s
US commercial presence , developing relationships with biotech and pharma sponsors, and building the foundation for a growing commercial team. Key Responsibilities
Lead
business development strategy and revenue growth
across the US Northeast Identify, develop, and close
new partnerships with biotech and pharmaceutical sponsors Build and leverage a
strong regional network
within oncology drug development Work closely with the
CEO and executive leadership team
on US market expansion Represent the organisation at
industry conferences and client meetings Lay the foundation to
build and lead a commercial team
over time Ideal Background
Proven track record in Oncology CRO business development. Strong
network within biotech/pharma sponsors , particularly in oncology Experience closing
mid–large CRO partnerships and strategic deals Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to
build strategy from the ground up Based in
Boston or the wider US Northeast region Why This Role?
