Job Details We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Permanent North America Sales Director for our Brazing division in the Engineering industry. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing and growing our North American brazing customer accounts. The successful candidate will have a strong financial acumen, a proven track record in sales and service strategy, and a deep understanding of cash optimization objectives. This role is pivotal in deploying and executing approved sales strategies for account managers, managing a high-performing sales team, and promoting performance. The candidate must have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities
Develop, deploy, and execute approved sales strategies for account managers to ensure the achievement of company sales targets.
Manage and grow our two major brazing customer accounts while identifying new business opportunities.
Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing sales team, promoting a culture of performance, collaboration, and customer focus.
Use your financial acumen to drive cash optimization objectives and financial performance within the sales division.
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and service strategy that enhances our market presence and boosts our customer base.
Collaborate with other department heads to align sales strategies and solutions.
Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts and provide them to the senior management team.
Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure the sales team is on board.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role in the engineering industry, specifically in brazing.
Proven experience in managing a high-performing sales team.
Strong financial acumen with a deep understanding of forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
Proven track record in developing and implementing effective sales and service strategies.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire.
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders and customers.
Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics.
Self-motivated, with a results-driven approach and a capacity for strategic thinking and planning.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
