Position Purpose The Director of HRIS is responsible for the strategic leadership, governance, and technical oversight of the organization’s global Workday platform, with a strong emphasis on system integrations and reporting. This position plays a critical role in maximizing the value of the Workday investment by ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient solutions that support business growth and operational excellence. The HRIS Director partners with business stakeholders to align Workday capabilities with organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

Define and execute the HRIS roadmap aligned with business and technology strategies

Directly oversee Workday integrations and operational reporting globally

Drive API strategy, web services utilization, EIBs, Workday Studio and other integration frameworks, as well as Workday Prism and Workday Extend use cases

Develop a Workday AI strategy that complements the corporate AI initiatives

Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and data privacy regulations

Establish performance objectives and foster a culture of accountability and innovation focusing on emerging AI technologies

Foster collaboration with global operating companies across time zones and regional teams

Partner with information security to align Workday with enterprise cybersecurity standards

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing HRIS team of Workday analysts and engineers

Collaborate in leading quarterly Program Implementation (PI) Planning events utilizing Agile methodologies to establish team priorities

Other duties as assigned.

Location

GPC has two work locations to choose from, Duluth or Atlanta office.

We offer a Flexible Work Policy that permits eligible employees to work a hybrid remote schedule.

Desired Qualifications & Experiences

B.S. degree in Information Systems, HR, Computer Science, or related discipline and 12+ years of HRIS experience, with at least 5+ years in Workday leadership

Proven experience managing technical teams, including technical expertise in Workday Integrations (Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Web Services)

Team Player with proven leadership, communication, organizational, and strong interpersonal skills. This role requires significant interaction with many different teams across a global company.

Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to maintain open communication with internal employees, contractors, 3rd parties, and customers

Proven experience managing technical teams, including technical expertise in Workday technologies (Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Web Services, Prism, Extend)

Must possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically within the Workday ecosystem

Should be familiar with tenets of Scaled Agile Framework (SAF)

Experience with Workday Prism and Extend not required, but preferred
