A large, technology-driven organization is seeking a
Director of Data Science & Analytics
to lead the development and deployment of advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI-driven solutions across the enterprise.
This leadership role will oversee a team responsible for building predictive models and scalable analytics capabilities that support strategic business initiatives. The Director will help define the data science roadmap while ensuring models are built with strong technical rigor and successfully integrated into production environments.
This position requires a combination of
technical expertise, leadership experience, and the ability to translate complex analytics into business impact .
Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of data scientists delivering machine learning and advanced analytics solutions
Oversee the design, development, validation, and deployment of predictive models
Establish best practices and governance standards for model development and lifecycle management
Manage the analytics project pipeline and prioritize initiatives aligned with strategic business objectives
Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to embed models into operational workflows
Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of production AI/ML systems
Promote adoption of advanced analytics across the organization
Evaluate emerging technologies in machine learning, generative AI, and advanced analytics
Qualifications:
Master’s or PhD in
Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics , or related field
Experience leading or managing
data science or machine learning teams
Demonstrated experience delivering
AI/ML solutions in production environments
Strong understanding of the full
model development lifecycle
Technical Skills:
Python and modern machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn)
Development and validation of machine learning and deep learning models
Experience with
Generative AI and Large Language Models
Model deployment and monitoring
Experience implementing
MLOps practices
such as model versioning and retraining pipelines
Additional Skills:
Strong collaboration with both technical and business stakeholders
Ability to communicate complex analytics insights clearly
Experience operating within cross-functional, enterprise environments
Additional Requirements:
Ability to work within a hybrid or onsite work model if required
Willingness to travel occasionally
