Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Commercial Real Estate Appraiser with Specialty Valuation Group (SVG). After training, this can transition to a remote (Ohio) role. The appraiser will conduct appraisals, research markets, and analyze data for a variety of property types, with a focus on special-use and commercial real estate. Responsibilities include preparing detailed valuation reports, collaborating with clients to understand their unique needs, and adhering to professional standards and deadlines. This position demands precision, flexibility, and the ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication with team members and stakeholders.
Qualifications
This position is for a state-licensed Certified General Appraiser only
Proficiency in Real Estate Appraisal, Appraising, and Appraisal techniques
Strong knowledge of Commercial Real Estate and Valuation concepts
Ability to analyze market trends and synthesize data for accurate property valuations
Detail-oriented with excellent report writing and data organization skills
Proficient in appraisal software and tools; knowledge of relevant regulatory standards
Strong communication and collaborative skills to engage with clients and team members effectively
Experience in special-use property appraisal is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related field
