National Sales Director – Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) Sales Division Company:

Summary The National Sales Director will be responsible for achieving sales division targets primarily through management of and driving the Regional Sales Directors and the direct sales force. Interfaces internally and externally with executive level management, Corporate Account Directors, and other sales divisions to negotiate sales and influence policies.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Drive commercialization and market leadership by partnering with marketing to develop go-to-market strategies, commercialization plans, and campaigns that maximize market penetration and revenue growth for the Laparoscopic MIS portfolio.

Create and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market presence.

Lead and manage regional sales teams, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and achievement of sales goals.

Set sales targets and monitor performance metrics to assess effectiveness of sales strategies and make necessary adjustments.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (surgeons) and health systems to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and optimize sales processes.

Work closely with marketing, product development, and executive leadership to align sales initiatives with overall business objectives.

Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to senior management.

Secondary or Peripheral Job Functions

Requires greater than 50% travel.

Strong analytical, planning, organizational, written and oral communication skills, interpersonal management skills, and ability to establish credibility with a range of customers & other company personnel.

Previous experience in strategic sales planning and development preferred.

Must be highly competent in operating room settings.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Management of Regional Sales Team performance and corporate requirements.

Directs and controls activities of sales division.

Education & Experience

Requires a bachelor's degree. MBA preferred and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.

7+ years of direct salesforce management experience.

Proven experience building and cultivating sales teams.

Experience with both consumable and capital products required.

Salary & Benefits Salary:

$215,000 - $240,000 plus incentive compensation.

Benefits include healthcare, a 401(k) plan, and tuition reimbursement.

Job Requirements – Credentialing It is an essential function of this position for an employee to be present and in-person at the physical site(s) of our customers and potential customers. Many of our customers and potential customers are in clinical settings, including hospitals, clinics, and other health care clinics. Required vaccinations and immunizations including COVID‑19 and seasonal influenza, plus credentialing clearances such as a national criminal background check and drug screening, are mandatory. Employees must fully comply with these requirements and obtain necessary clearances in the region where they operate.
