We are partnering with a leading professional services organization seeking a
Marketing & Business Development Technology Manager
to lead the strategy, optimization, and day-to-day execution of key marketing technology platforms.
This position plays a central role in enabling digital engagement, improving marketing performance, and ensuring the firm’s technology ecosystem supports data-driven business development efforts. The individual will manage a small team while collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, IT, analytics, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee a portfolio of marketing and business development tools supporting website experience, email campaigns, SEO, analytics, and digital engagement.
Ensure systems are reliable, user-friendly, and aligned with brand standards, accessibility requirements, and data integrity expectations.
Continuously evaluate and enhance workflows, identifying inefficiencies and implementing process improvements.
Manage and mentor a team focused on digital experience, analytics, and creative execution.
Establish priorities, distribute workload, and ensure high-quality, timely delivery across initiatives.
Support professional development through coaching and ongoing feedback.
Digital Performance & Insights
Drive initiatives related to SEO, website performance, and digital optimization.
Ensure reporting and dashboards are accurate, actionable, and aligned with broader analytics strategies.
Enable internal teams to effectively leverage data to inform marketing and client development decisions.
Data Governance & Integration
Support taxonomy and metadata strategies across digital platforms to ensure consistency and usability.
Partner with technical teams to support integrations, APIs, and data flow across systems.
Contribute to enterprise data initiatives by ensuring marketing data is structured and accessible.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as a key liaison between marketing, business development, IT, and third-party vendors.
Support rollout and adoption of new tools, platforms, and workflows.
Coordinate across teams to ensure alignment on priorities and execution.
Operations & Governance
Maintain documentation, standard operating procedures, and user guides for owned platforms.
Support governance, roadmap planning, and implementation of enhancements.
Manage vendor relationships, including budgeting, timelines, and quality assurance.
Promote adoption of tools and best practices across the organization.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Systems, or a related discipline preferred.
6+ years of experience working with marketing technology, digital platforms, or similar environments.
Prior experience leading teams or managing complex, cross-functional initiatives.
Strong understanding of digital ecosystems, including SEO, analytics, and performance measurement.
Familiarity with data governance, taxonomy, and metadata frameworks.
Ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams, including IT and analytics functions.
Experience creating documentation, training materials, or enablement resources.
Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities, and drive execution.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and present data effectively.
Hands-on, solution-oriented approach with strong attention to detail.
