DTC Vikings, New Bremen, OH, United States
German Country Manager – Copywriter - Remote, Contractor
About Us
DTC Viking is the parent company behind a family of fast-growing health and wellness brands —
Norse Organics, Frøya Organics, Primal Viking, and Arctic Goddess.
Our products are rooted in Nordic ingredients and backed by science. We're now expanding aggressively into the German-speaking market, and we need the right person to be our voice in DACH.
The Role We're looking for a talented
German Copywriter & Localization Specialist
to own our German-language presence. You won’t just translate; you will
transcreate . Your goal is to take our proven English marketing materials and rewrite them so they feel 100% native to the DACH audience. Over time, you’ll lead influencer partnerships and shape our regional strategy.
What You'll Do
Localize & Persuade:
Rewrite ad copy, landing pages, and product pages into high-converting, native-level German.
Creative Content:
Create original German ads and landing pages tailored specifically for DACH consumer psychology.
Email Marketing:
Adapt and optimize Klaviyo flows (welcome sequences, promos) for German customers.
Influencer Management:
Source and manage partnerships with German-speaking creators and handle whitelisting deals.
Cultural Compass:
Guide the team on what resonates in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland and what doesn't.
What We're Looking For
Native-level German:
Flawless, natural, and persuasive written German.
Professional English:
Ability to work with English source materials and communicate with our global team.
Experience:
1–5 years in copywriting, content writing, or digital marketing. Quality of work beats years on a CV.
Marketing Literacy:
You understand metrics like CTR, CVR, and ROAS. You write to sell, not just to inform.
Ownership:
This is a remote, async role. You are self-motivated and deliver high-quality work without being chased.
Nice to Have
Experience in DTC e-commerce, health & wellness, or supplements.
Familiarity with Shopify, Replo, or Klaviyo.
An existing network of German-speaking influencers or creators.
