Location: Detroit, Novi area, hybrid role. You must be within easy driving distance of the office
Travel: Local and regional customer site visits, with mileage expenses covered

About the role You will manage key automotive customer accounts (initially Ford, expanding to all major OEMs and Tier 1s) in the Detroit region, promoting advanced laser manufacturing solutions in dynamic EV and automotive markets.
This position combines business development and account management. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and increasing momentum in the e-mobility space, identifying new RFQ opportunities, and building strong relationships throughout the region. You will focus on brand-building, technical engagement, and creating awareness of high-value solutions.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in engineering or another relevant technical or industrial discipline
Sales background with proven experience managing or developing key accounts, ideally with exposure to automotive customers, capital equipment, or automation
Strong technical aptitude. You must be comfortable with technical concepts and eager to learn
Proactive, self-motivated, and highly presentable. You are ready to represent the company at customer meetings, conferences, and industry events
Experience with proactive networking, continuous learning, or presenting at industry events is valued
Ambition to take on a visible, career-building role with future growth potential
