United States (East Coast preferred: NJ, NY, FL) Remote:
with frequent travel to distributors and operator accounts Role Overview
We are seeking a
highly connected Foodservice Sales Director
to lead U.S. foodservice growth for our new US business unit. This is a
hands‑on, hunter role
focused on rapid account acquisition and volume growth through major foodservice distributors and operator groups. We are looking for someone with
existing distributor relationships
who can open doors quickly, close business, and drive sell‑through. Key Objectives
Place our high‑quality frozen products (seafood, gyoza, appetizers) with major foodservice distributors Secure menu placements with restaurants, chains, hotels, and institutional operators Build volume fast through strong distributor and operator partnerships Key Responsibilities
Open new distributor accounts, including: Sysco, US Foods, Performance Food Group (PFG), Gordon Food Service (GFS), Jetro / Restaurant Depot Present the company's portfolio to distributor buyers, culinary teams, and procurement leaders Own sales cycle: Sampling-Pricing/Negotiations-Menu testing-Contracting Drive operator activation through tastings, culinary workshops, and trade events Work closely with distributor sales reps to ensure sell‑through and account growth Represent the brand at key industry events (e.g., NRA Show, Seafood Expo) Provide sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and activity reporting directly to the U.S. CEO Required Qualifications (Must‑Have)
Proven success in
U.S. foodservice / HoReCa sales Active, existing relationships
with major foodservice distributors Demonstrated ability to open new accounts independently and close deals quickly Strong negotiation skills and experience securing menu placements Entrepreneurial, hunter mindset with urgency and accountability Comfortable operating with minimal bureaucracy and fast decision‑making Preferred Experience (Nice‑to‑Have)
Experience launching new or imported brands into U.S. foodservice Category knowledge in seafood, dumplings/gyoza, frozen appetizers, or global cuisines Compensation
Compensation is
flexible and competitive , aligned with senior‑level foodservice sales talent. Final package will depend on experience, current earnings, and the commercial impact the candidate can deliver. We are seeking proven performers with established industry relationships.
