
Future Retail Strategy and Innovation Consultant

Overview
Maritz Automotive Solutions is a leading automotive consulting firm specializing in driving dealership success from showrooms to service bays. We are currently seeking a results-driven consultant to join our dynamic team.
This role will sit near Orlando, FL with the ability to travel up to 70%.
Responsibilities
Primary point of contact to drive and assist with enrollment goals of dealers into various assigned OEM Programs.
Ensure turnaround time requirements are met on critical implementation milestones from key dealership staff.
Establish effective partnering relationships and facilitate in-person and virtual discussions to drive client KPIs.
Subject Matter Expert (SME) of various programs to drive program engagement and utilization.
Conduct engaging presentations or demos, both virtually and in-person, using established presentation slide decks.
Oversee and facilitate user training and support through the program implementation lifecycle(s).
Proactively identify implementation risks and work to mitigate effectively and efficiently.
Consult with assigned dealerships to develop action plans that drive results by implementing processes and unique dealership needs.
Build strong, productive relationships with various vendor partners who are integrated into the overall program structure.
Document, communicate and escalate issues/concerns as necessary according to the program plan.
Consistently review status of performance metrics using program analysis, data and tracking.
Participate in weekly performance and brainstorming discussions with the Maritz Lead (Program Manager) to develop smart practices and collaborate on how to overcome obstacles.
Utilize effective and efficient time management to focus on impactful activities and challenge deviations from identified goals.
Manage expenses as required by provided Maritz guidelines.
Qualifications
Four-year college degree (bachelor’s) or equivalent experience preferred.
Consulting and/or retail experience with automotive dealerships.
In-depth knowledge of the retail automotive industry, including common terminology, dealership structure and process workflows.
Knowledge of dealership/automotive retail software (CRM, digital retail tools, DMS, etc.).
Fast learner with the ability to stay in touch with fast-changing solutions.
Demonstrated history of sustaining a positive attitude during high-stress situations.
Ability to work within a defined Maritz team and partner with clients and vendor-partners.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent presentation, facilitation, and motivational skills to generate results.
Computer skills with Microsoft Office proficiency.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Travel up to 70% (i.e., dealership meetings, field team meetings, client meetings, etc.).
