About the Role Essity is looking for an experienced

Territory Sales Specialist – Wound Care . The role is responsible for managing and increasing sales of the Essity Advanced Wound Care product portfolio within the assigned geographic territory. The portfolio includes clinically unique brands such as Hydrofera Blue, Cutimed – Sorbact, Sorbion, Epiona, Hypafix, and Jobst – Compri2 and Comprifore. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, this role is the primary driver of sales within a territory or strategic metropolitan areas. The Wound Care Specialist is performance‑driven and will target multiple call points throughout the continuum of care, focusing on Acute Care, Surgical Areas, and Wound Care Centers, as well as managing and penetrating alternate sites of care. This is a remote position covering the greater Los Angeles area. The ideal candidate should live in the Los Angeles area or within the aligned Essity regional structure and be able to travel frequently.

What You Will Do

Meet or exceed sales targets driven by key‑account closures and competitive conversions in all areas of the healthcare market.

Possess and effectively communicate/product knowledge clearly and concisely.

Conduct effective customer needs assessment and solution development.

Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders within target accounts.

Interact with advanced practice clinicians (surgeons, physician assistants, nurse‑practitioners, WOCNs, and nurses) and influence product choice decisions.

Implement contracts and effectively penetrate key GPO and IDN awards.

Maintain and increase penetration in existing accounts and healthcare systems.

Coordinate opportunities internally and externally with customers.

Plan territory and accounts, both pre‑ and post‑call, targeting effectively.

Complete all administrative duties accurately and timely.

Who You Are

Bachelor's degree required.

At least 3 years of outside sales experience required; outside sales experience in the healthcare industry preferred. Exposure to wound care or surgical markets is a plus.

Additional experience in B2B sales is helpful.

Self‑motivated, able to work independently, competitive, tenacious, high integrity, fearless, strategic, passionate, and a team player.

Willingness to travel overnight, work weekends, and night shifts (approximately 25–35% of time).

Fluent in Microsoft programs (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Experience with CRM systems recommended (e.g., Salesforce.com, Dynamics).

Compensation and Benefits $70,000 – $85,000 annual salary range + sales incentive + benefits. Pay may vary based on individual factors such as knowledge, skills, and experience.
