The primary objective of the Managing Director is driving profitable growth of their assigned F&A/BAO vertical through local sales that continuously increase Randstad’s market share. The successful Managing Director leads a team of staffing professionals in sales, recruitment, order management, and excellent customer service for perm and temporary placements. The Managing Director will manage P&L and prospect budget; prospect sales, client relationships, account management, team performance management and development. They will demonstrate financial and general management skills by growing a profitable segment of business through people leadership and analysis of key business indicators:

This is a hybrid role, requiring 2–3 days per week on-site at our Plano office

What you get to do:

Responsible for designing, implementing, and executing a local sales strategy that aligns with vertical concept for that market

Generate GP in personal production. Responsible for selling segment orders within the market

Responsible for meeting revenue, gross margin, and other financial objectives

Build client relationships, positioning Randstad as a staffing industry leader and growing the business through new client acquisition and increase of market share

Responsible for managing all aspects of the team, consistently driving productivity and profitability, and acting as a Randstad brand advocate across sales, production, and business continuity

Direct all hiring and placement decisions; oversee, engage, and develop account teams by ensuring comprehensive training, coaching, performance reviews, and Individual Development Plans are consistently executed to maximize team knowledge, career mobility, engagement, and retention

Network within the community and existing talent to build business and stay abreast of industry/market trends and opportunities.

Foster strategic alliances and build collaborative relationships with internal leaders and other LOBs for cross selling opportunities

Maintain sales and service KPIs at defined standards and responsible for accurate completion of all required reports and activity tracking to achieve KPIs on a timely basis

Leverage multiple channels to proactively seek active and passive talent while embracing new tools and strategies to attract the best candidates

Make decisions regarding hiring, placement, and discipline of talent.

Ensure optimal client and talent satisfaction by providing top-quality service, promptly investigating talent issues, negotiating competitive candidate pay and client bill rates, and maintaining consistent interaction with placed talent to facilitate future redeployment and identify additional business opportunities.

What you need to bring:

4 Year / Bachelor's Degree

5+ years of staffing sales and business development experience specifically within the Finance & Accounting vertical

Possess a deep F&A background, including expertise in transactional accounting, with a primary focus on driving temporary placement sales

Demonstrated proven people management experience to lead a team while also building their own book of business with personal production expectations

Unsurpassed level of professionalism and ability to communicate at all levels of the client organization

Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve complex client situations in an effective manner

Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving abilities

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Ability to present business reviews and workforce strategies to client groups

Proficiency using Google mail, calendaring and shared drives
