
Director of Business Analytics
ALIGN PRECISION, Phoenix, AZ, United States
Leader of business analytics strategy and execution at both enterprise level and across ALIGN business units, focused on enabling and championing actionable, data-driven insights.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Leads enterprise-wide business analytics strategy and execution, including increasing data visibility between Business Development and Operations functions.
Assist business units with data collection and analysis for strong bases of estimates to be used in estimating and pricing.
Collaborates across functions to enable right-sized analytics solutions for Business Development pipeline and quote management.
Enables rapid reporting and visualization of business data as required.
Partners with SVP Business Development and SVP Contracts and Programs to create innovative data solutions, processes, and strategic feedback loops that serve both Corporate and Business Unit needs.
Promotes a data-driven culture throughout the organization.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Plans, conducts, and supervises assignments in collaboration with ALIGN Corporate and Business Units.
Evaluates and determines changes in methods or procedures in assigned area of responsibility and champions process improvement.
Enables and ensures compliance to company policies and procedures.
Education and/or Experience Bachelor’s degree; five to ten years related leadership experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Skills
Strong data analytics skillset and ability to translate data concisely into actionable insights
Strong understanding or willingness to learn about manufacturing processes, estimating methodologies, and business pipeline management
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with ability manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to analyze and interpret common manufacturing and estimating data, financial reports, and legal documents such as customer contracts
Ability to effectively present information to top management, customers, and/or boards of directors
Ability to thrive in a changing, fast-paced, growing, and dynamic business
Preferred Skills
Strong proficiency in advanced analytics toolsets/methodologies, such as Excel macros, SQL, Power BI, programming languages, etc.
Physical Requirements

Long periods of sitting
Potentially long hours
Location/Travel: Location is flexible. Travel (estimated 10%) may be required to support business unit and customer needs.
