Our client, a $5b AUM real estate investment firm, is seeking to add an Investor Relations Associate to their team. The position is hybrid and located in northern New Jersey, commutable from Manhattan. Investor Relations Associate A growing alternative investment platform is seeking an Associate to join its investor-facing team, working closely with senior leadership. This role offers meaningful exposure across investor engagement, fundraising support, and internal coordination, with strong potential for long-term growth within the organization. Key Responsibilities Support day-to-day investor coverage, helping manage ongoing communications and relationship needs across the client base Prepare for and participate in investor meetings and calls, coordinating materials and follow-ups Build a strong understanding of the firm’s strategies, portfolio, and positioning to effectively support external communications Partner with investment teams to develop marketing materials, case studies, and periodic portfolio and market updates Oversee the creation, maintenance, and distribution of investor materials, including presentations, reports, and diligence content Manage recurring investor deliverables such as diligence questionnaires, fundraising activity, and reporting requests Assist with new investor outreach and onboarding, including responses to diligence requests, tracking pipeline activity, and maintaining internal systems Coordinate cross-functionally with legal, compliance, finance, and operations to ensure accuracy and consistency of all external communications Contribute to broader team initiatives, including planning events, managing budgets, and improving internal processes and tools Qualifications 2+ years of experience within investment banking, private markets, real estate, or a similar institutional investment environment. Real estate exposure is strongly preferred. Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated interest in financial markets and alternative investing Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record Self-starter with intellectual curiosity and a strong interest in working within a growing investment platform Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and execution skills Clear and professional communicator, comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment Collaborative mindset with experience working across internal teams High level of integrity and sound judgment, particularly in regulated environments Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; comfortable leveraging technology to drive efficiency
