The Opportunity As an Engagement Director, you own client outcomes from kickoff through completion. This is a high-impact role for senior consulting leaders who combine commercial instincts with hands-on delivery excellence—working directly alongside client executives and Maine Pointe Partners to shape strategy, lead teams, and drive results that show up on the bottom line. What You’ll Do Own engagement outcomes end to end, delivering measurable EBITDA, cash, and revenue improvements Lead engagements or major workstreams through Analysis and Delivery phases with disciplined execution of Maine Pointe methodologies Align client success criteria with engagement goals and maintain rigorous progress tracking Tailor approaches to client context and industry dynamics—no cookie-cutter playbooks Advise & Build Relationships Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, building relationships that generate repeat engagements and expanded TVO journeys Identify and shape follow-on opportunities in close partnership with Engagement and Industry Partners Develop People Build and lead high-performing engagement teams Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement Your Background Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering, logistics, operations, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred) 10–15+ years leading consulting or business transformation engagements, ideally at an implementation-focused firm Track record of delivering quantifiable financial results within tightly managed timelines and budgets Strong financial and business acumen with the ability to adapt across industries and cultures Deep experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or operations transformation Leadership Profile The strongest Engagement Directors at Maine Pointe share a few things in common: Professional confidence paired with genuine humility—they earn trust, not demand it Natural coaches who inspire and develop diverse consulting teams Decisive under pressure with strong planning and change leadership skills Clear, compelling communicators who drive alignment across stakeholders Commercially minded—they see opportunities and act on them Practical Details Travel up to 85% to client sites (this is a client-facing, on-the-ground role) Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint Authorization to work in the United States is required (sponsorship is not available) Equal Opportunity Employer Maine Pointe is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
