Key Responsibilities
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on Google Cloud (GCP) services, architecture patterns, and migration strategy.
Leverage Google Cloud technologies to design, develop, and manage robust, secure, scalable, efficient, cost-effective, highly available, and flexible solutions that drive business objectives.
Proficient in enterprise cloud strategy, solution design, workload migration approaches, deployment and orchestration, optimization, and architectural best practices.
Familiarity with the Google Cloud Well-Architected Framework.
Lead the end-to-end migration of applications from legacy platforms to GCP, including assessment, design, re-platforming, and modernization.
Architect and design cloud-native and hybrid application solutions leveraging:
Apigee API Management
Cloud Run, GKE, Compute Engine, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud SQL
GCP Operations Suite for logging, monitoring & incident response
Cloud Interconnect / VPC networking
Build application modernization roadmaps using Java and C#, ensuring best practices in microservices, API-first design, and distributed systems.
Develop and govern CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, Artifact Registry, and DevOps automation best practices.
Present architecture recommendations and designs to customers and executives (CxOs, Directors, Engineering Leads).
Create high-quality technical content including architecture decks, whitepapers, solution diagrams, and training recordings.
Provide technical training & enablement to internal teams (Solution Architects, BDMs, Engineering, Product stakeholders).
Ensure GCP deployments meet security, compliance, reliability, and cost-optimization standards.
Manage a dynamic pipeline of technical engagements requiring fast delivery and frequent re-prioritization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Developers, DevOps, Infrastructure, Product, Business stakeholders).
Document solution blueprints, migration strategies, architecture standards, and deployment runbooks.

Required Qualifications
15+ years in IT, including strong customer-facing architecture and service delivery experience.
Experience migrating or transforming legacy enterprise applications to Google Cloud (GCP).
4+ years in application architecture domains such as software development, cloud computing, distributed systems, or infrastructure.
2+ years of hands-on experience architecting and operating cloud solutions, with GCP being the primary platform.
2+ years in a customer-facing technical role (executive and engineering audiences).
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Certified Google Professional Cloud Architect
Strong ability to translate business needs into technical architecture.
