Director of GTM Engineering

Our client is a high growth, venture-backed SaaS company building an AI-driven platform used by enterprise teams to manage and automate complex internal workflows. Their product acts as a central system of record, improving how work is captured, prioritized and executed across organizations. Following recent product expansion and continued growth, the business is entering a key phase focused on scaling their go-to-market engine, driving efficiency across the revenue function, and leveraging AI to build a more intelligent and automated operating model. As Director of GTM Engineering, you will be responsible for designing and building the systems, workflows and infrastructure that sit behind revenue. This is a highly visible role, working closely with founders and senior leadership across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product and Finance. Responsibilities:

GTM Systems & Infrastructure

Design and build scalable systems and workflows across the full customer lifecycle, from acquisition through to retention. Focus on creating a more structured, automated and data-driven GTM engine. Automation & AI

Identify and remove manual processes across the revenue funnel, leveraging automation and AI to improve efficiency, consistency and output. Build and deploy AI-driven workflows that support core revenue activities. Create a unified view of revenue data across CRM, product and customer interactions. Develop systems that enable real-time visibility, better decision making, and ongoing optimization. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product and Finance to align systems, processes and data across the business. Translate strategy into execution through scalable infrastructure. Planning & Forecasting

Support leadership with revenue planning, forecasting and performance tracking. Help define targets, models and frameworks that drive accountability and growth. Function Evolution

Help evolve traditional Revenue Operations into a more technical, systems-driven GTM Engineering function focused on building rather than managing processes. Requirements:

5+ years’ experience in GTM Engineering, growth, or strategic operational roles within high- growth B2B SaaS environments Experience building systems and processes that scale revenue without scaling headcount Hands‑on experience with automation tools, data systems, and ideally AI or LLM‑based tooling Strong systems thinker, with the ability to design and implement scalable solutions Comfortable working cross‑functionally with senior stakeholders and leadership teams Highly execution‑focused, with the ability to move quickly and iterate Analytical mindset, with strong attention to detail and data‑driven decision making Experience working in fast‑paced, early‑stage (Series A/B) environments preferred Remote or hybrid working options (NYC) Health, dental and vision coverage 401k Flexible PTO Collaborative, high‑performance team environment
