Assist with developing and implementing Crop Protection's long-term and annual marketing plans/strategies and communicate the overall crop protection branded, generic and specialty product message across all core and expanded territories. Support the promotion of GROWMARK Crop Protection products and services in line with business plans. Develop and implement marketing inputs into annual sales and gross margin, and long-term projections. Develop and communicate the generic crop protection product offerings and proprietary adjuvant brand. Identify and develop new opportunities while working with FS Members and understanding their needs and strategic direction. Maintain relationships at the local level with vendors and implement vendor marketing programs, key dates, and pricing in alignment with profit standards. Develop and implement Crop Protection, Adjuvant training and support needs in coordination with GROWMARK Agronomic Services to strengthen marketing position. Initiate sales calls with FS Members to build relationships and promote crop protection brands to targeted customers. Serve as a contact for sales, information, and operational needs of FS members and prospects for crop protection products and services within the assigned area. Other Job Functions
Obtain FS Member information on product purchase plans, assist in developing supply plans, and communicate trends within the Crop Protection Division. Maintain industry contacts to stay current on market trends. Make visits to member cooperatives to enhance business relationships. Maintain a sales history of all Crop Protection product lines and prepare monthly sales status and activity reports. Follow GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures. Perform all other duties as assigned. Requirements
Normally requires a college degree in business, marketing, or the equivalent, and 3+ years of marketing leadership experience (preferably in the Crop Protection Industry) to develop, implement, and execute strategic marketing plans, budgets, and communications. Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. Must have the ability to travel independently and overnight as needed. Ability to acquire and maintain a United States Passport. Ability and willingness to participate in required training related to the position. Benefits
