Developmental Internship: Strategy and Operations Uplift is a nonprofit organization serving returning citizens in Pennsylvania. Our vision is to create a world in which all people have paths to meaningful opportunities, where barriers to reentry do not exist. Our mission is to reduce the barriers for justice involved people, helping them find pathways to long-term success.

Our work has helped hundreds of returning citizens find gainful employment and successfully navigate challenges and begin successful lives. We offer life skills training, at-risk youth support, workforce development programs for careers in retail, HVAC and CDL, and are continually working to expand our programmatic offerings. We regularly host record clearing clinics, organize community engagement events, and collaborate with ecosystem partners to develop new ways to set our community up for success.
