Position Summary We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Conveying Components Sales Territory Manager to drive sales growth within an assigned territory. In this role, you will be responsible for prospecting and converting accounts, building relationships with OEMs, engineering firms, end users, and distributors. Your ability to establish and develop a robust distributor network while effectively communicating market and customer needs to our organization will be key to your success.
Location Candidate must be based in Arizona or Southern California and able to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Growth: Drive revenue growth within the assigned territory by identifying and converting new business opportunities.
Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with OEMs, engineering firms, end users, and distributors to ensure a consistent increase in our customer base while retaining existing customers.
Distributor Network: Establish, develop, and manage a distributor network to support product sales and expand market reach.
Market Insights: Gather and communicate market intelligence, customer needs, and competitive insights to inform organizational strategies.
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed territory objectives.
Collaboration: Partner with internal teams, including engineering and manufacturing, to provide tailored solutions that meet customer requirements.
Representation: Represent Superior Industries at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to promote products and build brand awareness.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business strongly preferred; minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required.
1 to 5 years of experience in industrial or mining sales in Arizona preferred, with a successful sales record in copper mining.
A consistent record of personal achievement and employment stability.
Excellent listening, verbal and written communication, and negotiation skills.
Strong time-management skills with the ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities.
Proficient in using technology, including Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and Salesforce or comparable CRM software.
Must reside within the assigned territory.
Willingness to travel purposefully up to 50% of the time.
