Position Overview Newfi Lending is seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Mortgage Sales Recruiter to join our team. This role will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top sales talent across the organization, with a primary focus on the Wholesale, Consumer Direct, and Correspondent sales channels.
The ideal candidate brings mortgage recruiting experience with a strong emphasis on sales production roles, understands how to identify high‑performing talent, and knows how to build strong partnerships with hiring leaders. This person should be energized by recruiting in a fast‑paced sales environment and confident in engaging candidates who can make an immediate impact.
Qualifications
Partner closely with hiring managers and sales leadership to understand hiring needs, production goals, and ideal candidate profiles
Manage full‑cycle recruiting for mortgage sales roles, including positions within Wholesale, Consumer Direct, and Correspondent channels
Source and engage top‑performing sales talent through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking, and direct outreach
Conduct candidate screenings and interviews to assess sales experience, production background, relationship‑building skills, and overall fit
Present qualified candidates to hiring leaders with thoughtful recommendations and market insight
Build and maintain pipelines of passive and active mortgage sales talent for current and future openings
Deliver a strong candidate experience through clear communication, timely follow‑up, and a professional recruiting process
Track recruiting activity, pipeline progress, and hiring updates within the applicant tracking system
Partner with leadership on recruiting strategies, talent mapping, and outreach efforts to support business growth
Requirements
2+ years of mortgage recruiting experience, with a strong focus on sales roles
Experience recruiting for Wholesale Account Executives, Inside Account Executives, Consumer Direct Loan Officers, or similar production roles
Strong sourcing, networking, and headhunting skills
Ability to evaluate sales talent, ask strong interview questions, and identify candidates with the right blend of drive, relationship skills, and production potential
Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
High level of professionalism, discretion, and follow‑through
Self‑motivated and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote environment
Experience with applicant tracking systems; Paylocity Recruiting experience is a plus
