A growing specialty insurance organization is seeking a Senior Regional Underwriting Manager – Construction to lead underwriting strategy, drive production, and strengthen broker relationships across a defined territory. This is a high‑visibility role for a seasoned underwriter who excels in complex risk evaluation, relationship management, and leadership.

Responsibilities
Underwrite and service multi‑line large deductible Construction accounts
Build and deepen broker and client relationships to drive profitable growth
Evaluate complex construction risks and develop tailored underwriting solutions
Present strategic business cases and represent the organization at client meetings and industry events
Collaborate with Actuarial, Claims, Legal, and Risk Services to deliver cohesive account strategies
Mentor and coach underwriters, supporting talent development and team performance
Influence underwriting strategy and contribute to long‑term business planning
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
10+ years of underwriting experience, ideally in large deductible or national accounts
Proven success in a field production environment
Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring and coaching underwriters
Strong agency relationships and negotiation skills
Ability to evaluate complex risks and achieve production goals
Experience presenting to clients and representing organizations at industry events
Professional designations (e.g., CPCU) are a plus
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Hybrid schedule required (3 days/week in designated regional office)
