
Patient Account Representative

Position Summary
We are looking for a Patient Access Representative in a call center environment in the Beverly Hills, CA area. This person will handle approximately 50+ calls per day across multiple specialty offices in Southern California. Duties include answering phones, triaging patients, providing directions and parking instructions, notifying clinic facilities of late patients, scheduling and rescheduling appointments, verifying insurances, and assisting with referrals and follow-up care.
This position is on‑site until fully trained and passing multiple assessments (typically around 2–4 months of on‑site work, depending on performance) after which it will transition to remote.
Required Skills and Experience
HS Diploma
2+ years of healthcare call center experience (average call time ≤ 5 minutes)
Proficiency with scheduling appointments through an EHR software
2+ years of experience scheduling patient appointments for multiple physicians in one practice
40+ WPM typing speed
Experience handling multiple phone lines
Nice to Have Skills and Experience
Proficiency in EPIC
Experience verifying insurances
Basic experience with Excel and standard workbooks
Experience in pain management, dermatology, neurology, endocrinology, rheumatology, or nephrology
