Role Overview Senior Functional Consultant — you will work in a team at the intersection of business and technology, helping clients define, structure, and implement solutions that deliver tangible business value. You will be involved from requirements definition through solution design and implementation, working closely with both client stakeholders and APGAR technical teams. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured problem-solving, client interaction, and building scalable data foundations.
Responsibilities
Lead and structure business requirements gathering for MDM and Data Governance initiatives
Translate business needs into functional specifications, data models, workflows, and governance processes
Contribute to the design and implementation of MDM solutions (Customer, Product, Supplier, Reference data, etc.)
Support or lead workshops with business and IT stakeholders
Collaborate with technical consultants on configuration, testing, and deployment
Participate in solution validation, user acceptance testing, and go-live preparation
Contribute to APGAR methodologies, templates, and best practices
Support presales activities (discovery meetings, demos, proposals)
Required Experience & Skills
5+ years of experience in a functional consulting role within an IT or consulting firm
Solid hands-on experience with Master Data Management and/or Data Governance initiatives
Experience working with business stakeholders across functions (Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, etc.)
Exposure to SAP or large enterprise data ecosystems
Experience working in international or multi-entity environments
Experience with MDM platforms such as Reltio, Semarchy, or TIBCO EBX is a plus
