Job Summary This position engages with customers to promote and sell insurance products. The role builds rapport with customers, identifies their needs, and provides a positive experience. This position manages complex accounts with a deep understanding of underwriting and risk philosophies and mentors other team members. Consistently produces at or higher than the top quartile average.

Essential Job Functions

Independently manages, quotes, sells, and books premium for external customers with high value or complex sales cycles and portfolios and ensures compliance with underwriting and regulatory standards.

Analyzes, clarifies, and resolves complex policy and account related questions and supports service requests.

Resolves escalated inquiries.

Provides mentoring and training to team members, fosters a culture of skill development and knowledge sharing, coaches and provides feedback.

Serves as a subject matter expert across multiple product lines, underwriting guidelines, and industry standards.

Collaborates with leadership on strategy and feedback.

Reviews insurance risks and communicates with appropriate personnel to obtain underwriting approval.

Monitors performance toward outlined KPIs.

Meets or exceeds monthly sales targets.

Seeks opportunities to expand knowledge of Farmers products, insurance, sales, and industry trends.

Identifies opportunities for process improvement and contributes to the development of best practices and service enhancements.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Property & Casualty insurance license

required

Experience Requirements

Minimum five years of sales experience, with demonstrated success in complex account management, required.
