Outside Sales Representative – Specialty Chemicals Location:

field-based (Metro Atlanta) with onsite office requirements in Johns Creek

Compensation:

$100,000–$120,000

Summary:

Our client is seeking a Senior Sales Specialist to drive growth across specialty chemical products, with a focus on para-aramid materials, yarns, fabrics, and composites. This role targets key industries including defense, aerospace, automotive, and advanced industrial sectors.

What You’ll Do

Drive new business and manage existing accounts (50/50 split)

Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close

Expand relationships with key industrial customers

Provide sales forecasts and market insights

Track activity, pipeline, and territory performance

Monitor market trends, competitors, and pricing

Represent the organization at industry events

What You Bring

3+ years of sales or business development experience in specialty chemicals or advanced materials

Experience selling into defense, aerospace, automotive, or industrial markets preferred

Strong pipeline management and new business development skills

Analytical mindset with market intelligence capabilities

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Willingness to travel

Schedule: Onsite when not in the field (8:30 AM – 5:30 PM)

Travel: ~50% local / 50% national
