About The Role We are seeking a Product Launch Analyst for the Capital Formation team within the Client Platform. Wellington has been investing in private markets for decades and launched its first dedicated private capital fund in 2014. The Private Investment Platform currently manages over $10 billion in committed capital across a broad range of private equity and private credit strategies. The Capital Formation team supports our fundraising and product development efforts, with ownership of the client and product life cycle management.
This role will partner closely with Investment Teams, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Finance, and Distribution to ensure timely, scalable, and compliant product launches.
Essential Skills
Project management and execution – partner with the Capital Formation team to develop and manage product launch timelines and fundraising calendars. Experience overseeing multiple concurrent projects and ensuring smooth execution while driving fast‑paced initiatives and collaborating across functional groups.
Analytical skills – utilize data succinctly to support multi‑year strategic initiatives and align project goals with broader objectives. Strong attention to detail and experience standardizing reporting processes and tracking KPIs.

Responsibilities
Own end‑to‑end execution of Private Equity and Private Credit investment vehicle launches, including commingled funds, SMAs, co‑investment SPVs, and evergreen structures, from concept through post‑launch stabilization.
Project‑manage fund structuring, legal and regulatory documentation, operational setup, and investor onboarding in partnership with Investment, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Finance, and Distribution teams.
Serve as the central coordinator across investment and non‑investment functions to ensure timely, scalable, and compliant launches.
Develop and maintain launch plans, timelines, risk trackers, and centralized lifecycle playbooks.
Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to senior stakeholders.
Drive post‑launch process improvement, standardization, and best practices as the platform scales.
Contribute to KPI tracking, forecasting, budgeting, and management reporting.
Oversee ongoing lifecycle management for Private Credit and Evergreen platforms, including capital calls, distributions, investor reporting, cash‑flow monitoring, and liquidity management.
Support structuring new vehicles, analyzing domiciles, legal wrappers, and offering terms.
Contribute to the development of scalable and compliant evergreen fund models.
Lead workflows supporting fundraising activities and lifecycle milestones, integrating operational readiness into fundraising timelines.
Partner with Capital Formation leadership and Private Investments management on strategic initiatives.
Support customization of investment vehicles (e.g., SMAs and strategic partners).
Qualifications
5–8+ years of relevant experience in private markets, ideally in fund launches, investment operations, product management, strategy, or management consulting within asset management.
Strong familiarity with Private Equity and/or Private Credit vehicles, including commingled funds, SMAs, co‑investment SPVs, and evergreen structures.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross‑functional initiatives and manage multiple concurrent workstreams with senior stakeholders.
Superior organizational and project management skills, results‑oriented mindset, and ability to prioritize effectively in fast‑paced environments.
Highly detail‑oriented with a proactive approach to problem‑solving, risk identification, and process optimization.
Strong analytical capabilities, including proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data analysis and BI/reporting tools preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including business writing and stakeholder communications.
Experience working with external service providers (e.g., legal counsel, fund administrators, custodians) preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field required; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP) a plus.

Employees are eligible to receive salary, variable compensation, and benefits. The base salary range for this position is USD 90,000 – 180,000. Base salary is only one component of Wellington’s total compensation approach. Other rewards may include a discretionary corporate bonus and/or incentives, if eligible.
