
Technical Sales Manager

Overview
Develop and manage the Polyurethane liquid color/ additives market in the assigned territory by setting and organizing the proper strategies, in order to reach the corporate goals.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage the PU liquid color/additive market in the assigned territory with a primary emphasis on Flexible Foam (slab, molded, cast) producers.
Determine the selling price policy aiming to increase corporate profitability, as well as the volumes and turnover.
Organize and coordinate the business activities in cooperation with the technical team.
Meet with decision makers at prospective accounts on a regular basis to drive progress of new sales development.
Regularly monitor the sales trend and intervene with corrective actions if changes occur in the agreed plan, and with improvement actions whenever possible.
Travel 50% between customer visits and onsite with Repi.
Prepare and submit for management approval business plans related to new commercial activities aimed at further developing the company’s business in the assigned territory.
Set and submit for management approval the annual sales budget for the PU target accounts related to the assigned area.
Ensure good information flows amongst target customers and relevant people within Repi.
Submit expenses, travel sheets, and sales reports in a timely manner.
Visit with Management periodically, in order to report on the progress of activities aimed at increasing the company’s sales in the assigned region.
Qualifications Required
5+ years’ experience in sales positions or similar
3+ years’ experience in polyurethane or specialty chemical industry
Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or marketing or chemistry and engineering or similar fields of study
Willing and able to travel 50%
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft office applications
Demonstrated ability to interface with customers, building trusting relationships and strives customer confidence in Repi service.
Preferred
SAP/ERP experience
Opening to interpersonal relations, good communications skills.
Being observer and prepositive to see the possible solutions to problems reacting positively and promptly to uncertain or new situations.
Optimizing resources and time available, minimizing waste. Sharing skills and experience in a proactive way.
Personality and availability to work in a team.
