
Sales Representative (K-12)

Description
As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling Edclub's product offerings to schools and school districts nationwide. You will own the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing, building relationships with decision makers at the state, district, and local school levels to grow Edclub's market share. This role is primarily remote but requires occasional travel to meet customers, attend trade shows, and industry events.
Required Skills
Excellent telephone etiquette, written and verbal communication skills
Strong presentation skills over the web and in-person
Sense of humor, positive attitude, and superior relationship‑building skills
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently (with direction) and with a team
Proficient use of web‑based products such as Google Docs, Sheets, Drive, and generally “tech‑savvy”
Experience with CRM systems preferred
Minimum 2+ years of related experience, preferably in SaaS sales, account management, or inside sales role
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Responsibilities
Meet and exceed sales quotas
Provide high‑quality sales forecasts and prepare reports for leadership
Follow up on inbound sales leads
Prospect for new customers
Expand revenue opportunity within new and existing subscribers by selling other Edclub products
Conduct high‑quality & well‑informed virtual sales demos to prospects
Manage the entire lifecycle of a sale and build new business relationships
Provide input when required for contract negotiations
Prepare RFPs and quotes
Keep up‑to‑date knowledge of the competitive landscape
Be well informed about state alignment standards
Coordinate efforts with other teams to close deals
Improve selling skills and participate in self‑paced sales training
Attend trade shows, industry events, and visit customers onsite
Help with logistics and setup of trade shows – requires lifting booth furniture
Perform public speaking events presenting Edclub’s product offerings to teachers, principals, and school district leaders, answering their questions
Maintain a thorough knowledge of Edclub’s products
Other role‑specific duties as assigned
