We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and creative Digital Communications and Marketing Associate to join our award-winning team at Liberty Concepts. This is a dynamic and collaborative role, with tremendous opportunity to be involved with comprehensive digital programs for some of the nation’s top companies and organizations.

As a Digital Communications and Marketing Associate, You will be responsible for working with project managers, strategists, and designers on various projects for Liberty Concepts. You will be responsible for supporting client work in general strategic communications, marketing, and social media planning/execution. You will also be expected to execute market research, competitor analysis, digital advertising, analytics, and SEO/SEM reporting.

Your role will include client-facing communications, and you may be expected to present aspects of your work both digitally and through in-person meetings. You will be responsible for helping to advise clients on general communications strategy, marketing, and social media plans when relevant. Remaining up-to-date on digital trends and helping the broader team translate these into innovative strategies for our client base is critical. Success in this position will require creativity, adaptability, excellent writing skills, and attention to detail.

Develop and execute communications project plans where appropriate

Gather scope requirements, prepare budgets, and set expectations for deliverables to present to clients

Ensure that project work tracks under budget and is produced on time

Assist in maintaining project documents so they are complete, current, and stored appropriately in the relevant project management software

Research and gather supporting materials and documentation for project managers, strategists, and the executive team as needed

Find opportunities to improve client projects and deepen client relationships

Assist in developing new techniques and technologies to drive innovation and make constructive suggestions to your supervisor(s)

Advise on broad organizational strategies, campaign tactics, and identity branding

Write copy for various communication mediums for clients where applicable

Develop social media strategies and produce social media calendars and campaign documents where applicable

Participate in content production for social media accounts on behalf of clients

Analyze metrics from websites and social media to produce reports and advise new strategies

Work with the strategic team on digital advertising campaigns and tracking – including Google Adwords, Display advertising, and the Basis ad delivery network

Utilize the Google Tag Manager on behalf of clients where applicable to create detailed conversion tracking

Develop and monitor digital sentiment analysis profiles when required

Execute SERP/SEO audits and assist in developing reputation management plans

Seek to contribute to a mutual learning environment, sharing knowledge, research, and ideas with your colleagues and supervisor to encourage mutual benefit

Support the design team in creating collateral for digital strategy initiatives

Keep up to date with social media trends and new technologies, and be prepared to present to the broader team as we seek to improve our service offerings

Required Skills

1-2 years of experience as a Digital Strategist, Marketing Coordinator or similar role

Experience in using digital media for brand awareness and engagement

Knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Snapchat, TikTok, Pinterest, and other social media platforms

Ability for long term strategic planning including a variety of platforms and mediums for clients, and competence in tactical execution to advance strategic goals

Ability to quickly brainstorm, crystalize, and execute day-to-day social media posts

Basic understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics

Critical thinker with problem-solving skills and the ability to present to a C-level stakeholder on ideas, without the assistance of AI LLMs or similar tools

Basic familiarity with AI LLMs and similar tools

Excellent writing ability

Timely attendance and competent performance in meetings with clients and internal teams

Strong organizational skills
