As the
VP of Marketing , you will lead strategic efforts to advance the brand, drive growth, and elevate marketing performance across the Credit Union and its family of companies, including the primary Credit Union, its Foundation, and its mortgage, insurance, and fintech affiliates. This role requires a seasoned marketing leader capable of driving enterprise‑wide strategy across multiple business segments while developing and empowering a team of eight through strong leadership, clear direction, and high‑impact execution. You will partner closely with executive leadership to ensure organizational alignment, serve as a key voice at the leadership table, and act as a visible ambassador in the community—strengthening brand presence, championing engagement efforts, and amplifying member perspectives across all channels. As a deeply member‑focused institution, your leadership will be instrumental in shaping how the organization shows up for the communities it serves.
How You’ll Contribute
Strategic Leadership & Planning : Develop and refine an enterprise‑wide marketing strategy across all channels while partnering with the C‑Suite to align initiatives with organizational goals, and lead multi‑entity marketing efforts that support the Credit Union and its affiliates with consistent messaging and strong brand integrity.
Brand, Marketing Operations & Campaign Execution : Oversee high‑impact marketing campaigns across all channels while driving brand consistency, fueling member and deposit growth through targeted cross‑channel initiatives, leading MCIF/CRM analytics and ROI insights, and staying ahead of emerging trends to keep the organization on the cutting edge.
Team Leadership & Development : Lead, energize, and elevate a team of eight marketing professionals through clear direction, hands‑on coaching, goal‑setting, and continuous improvement, all while steering a high‑volume community engagement program and supporting 200+ annual events with dynamic, effective leadership.
Community & Public Relations : Lead with impact as the brand’s public face of marketing—engaging members, partners, and community organizations—while driving high‑impact PR and communication strategies that boost member engagement, loyalty, and brand awareness, and partnering with internal teams and external agencies to maximize brand visibility.
Vendor, Budget & Agency Management : Own the marketing budget to maximize investment and cost efficiency, while driving the evaluation and adoption of new marketing technologies and overseeing external agencies and partnerships to ensure all deliverables meet performance expectations and uphold brand standards.
Success Factors To excel in this role, you’ll need to bring
at least five years of experience leading a small to mid‑sized marketing team across multiple business lines , along with a
Bachelor’s
degree in Marketing or a related field. You should demonstrate exceptional communication and leadership abilities, strong strategic planning and execution skills, and proven experience in
omni‑channel marketing, digital strategy, and brand management . Experience within banking, financial services, credit unions, and/or nonprofit organizations is preferred, not required! Familiarity with CRM platforms and advanced analytics is a strong plus.
