Overview Carelon Sales Executive, Solutions Consultant at Elevance Health.

Location: Hybrid. This role requires in-office presence 3 days per week to foster collaboration and productivity, with flexibility to support work-life balance. Responsibilities

Partner with leadership to identify sales opportunities and meet growth objectives for the business.

Understand all aspects of the business and partner with executive leadership to define strategy and success criteria.

Establish, build, and maintain executive-level relationships at targeted accounts to yield opportunities for Carelon solutions.

Articulate and introduce specific solutions to new customers leveraging assets across Carelon business units.

Maintain visibility within industry groups and stay fluent in emerging industry developments.

Translate strategy into defined tactics, programs and timelines; align with enterprise plans to turn strategy into reality.

Collaborate with product development by representing the voice of the customer for assigned segments.

Identify, pursue, and close net-new opportunities contributing to the annual external sales target.

Direct and coordinate account sales activities related to varied health services products (e.g., behavioral health, data analytics, care delivery).

Develop strategies and execute sales plans to achieve membership growth and financial goals.

Support RFP activity and account finalist opportunities for new sales and account management.

Document strategic priorities and report on customer insight research encountered during the selling cycle.

Build and leverage C-suite relationships to provide innovative solutions to complex problems solved by Carelon products.

Propose opportunities to improve results based on continuous needs assessment.

Collaborate with Product/Solution teams to inform offerings for customer needs and communicate these effectively.

Consistently build and manage a sales pipeline.

Develop aggressive strategic communication plans as part of sales activities.

Minimum Requirements

BS/BA degree in related field with a minimum of 10 years of related experience, including senior sales experience and at least 3 years in strategic planning; or any combination of education and experience providing an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, And Experiences

Minimum of 7 years’ experience in home health and/or post-acute care market preferred.

Extensive knowledge of health insurance sales preferred.

Willingness to travel to worksites and other locations as necessary.
